Hundreds of Donors have rushed to donate blood to help save the lives of survivors of the Air India Express flight from Dubai that crash landed at Kozhikode in Kerala on Friday 7th Aug 2020.
It was amazing how people came forward despite fears of coronavirus and heavy downpour.
Hundreds queued up outside at least four hospitals in Kozhikode and Mallapuram districts until midnight after reports of the tragic mishap emerged at 7:41 pm on Friday.
As soon as the news was published Blood Donors Kerala came up with the announcement through WhatsApp and calls expecting the requirement, BDK coordinators visited the blood banks and enquired the status, volunteered there and arranged and ensured the availability in all the hospital’s to which the patients of plane crash was admitted.
121 people Donated their blood on behalf of Blood Donors Kerala on Friday and Saturday for the cause.
