The
Federation of Indian Blood Donors Organisations (FIBDO) is a
national-level umbrella body representing voluntary, non-remunerative
blood donor organizations across India. FIBDO is committed to promoting
safe, regular, and voluntary blood donation throughout the country. It
works to raise awareness, educate the public, and support blood donation
drives by collaborating with NGOs, government agencies, and healthcare
institutions. FIBDO also plays an important advocacy role by working
toward a comprehensive National Blood Transfusion Act, which aims to
regulate, standardize, and protect ethical blood donation practices in
India. Through training, campaigns, and national conferences like
BLODCON, FIBDO empowers blood donor motivators and organizations to
improve outreach, ensure donor safety, and maintain the dignity of
voluntary blood donation. FIBDO is a member of NBTC,MoHFW,GOI.
